What are the latest trends, challenges and insights for Enterprise video? Hosting platform Vimeo have just published their 2025 report.
Not surprisingly video is highly valued but organisations are still struggling to use it effectively, and the range of channels & platforms is creating problems with oversight and security. As people make more video this is only likely to increase, so clear strategies will be become even more valuable, as will the desire for ‘one platform to rule them all’ – whether that’s a realistic possibility or not….

1. Video creates better outcomes but strategy is a problem
79% of organisations say video improves business outcomes (Tech was 85%, Financial Services 65%). But only 43% have a clear strategy.
2. Difficulty in extracting value
98% see video as a valuable source of insights, but only 45% feel able to extract those insights.
3. The number of different platforms is causing problems
Only 5% of organisations used one platform, some using over six. This is creating problems with privacy, costs, efficiency and oversight.
4. Video at scale is valued but achieving that is a struggle
Organisations see video as crucial for competitive edge but lack the tools and infrastructure to do get the most from it. 66% thought a single, all-encompassing platform would be a gamechanger.
